We are looking to hire a Web Design Intern to work in our Technology Department. This position is flexible with hours and days, but the ideal applicant must commit to working at least 16 hours per week. Letters of recommendation are provided, and this position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills.

- Perform qualitative research to understand user needs
- Develop site content and graphics
- Evaluate design solutions for usability
- Create mockups for review by customers
- Upgrade websites by updating content and graphics
- Collaborate closely with assigned teams and departments
- Other duties as assigned
- An online portfolio with lots of potential
- Strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Background in designing wireframes and prototypes
- Highly proficient in HTML, including CSS
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet high standards
- Ability to learn technical systems and tasks quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong computer and Internet skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently, execute and move to the next task quickly
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Student working towards Associates, Bachelors or Masters Degree
